Niche selection is crucial for Pinterest's success because not every niche is going to work on it.

If you’ll select the wrong niche you’re going to waste your time and money. So, do research before starting a website on any niche.

Here’s how I select a niche before starting my new Pinterest website.

  1. Women’s Fashion

  2. Beauty

  3. Wedding

  4. Travel

  5. Quotes

  6. Home Decor

  7. Parenting

  8. Gardening

  9. Foods and Drinks

  10. Events

  11. DIY and Crafts

How to Select Niche for Pinterest Website?

Select any niche from the above popular niches list. Go to Pinterest trends and select that niche from the Interest section.

Example:

If you want to work on a travel niche, then select that from Interests. See if you’re able to find a list of keywords about which you think users will visit your site for more information.

Such as in the above image “fall bucket list 2024” For this keyword, chances are the user will visit the site to find more information.

For general keywords such as “nyc fall” click on it and you’ll see more keyword suggestions. (See below image)

This will give you more context about the general keyword, what users want to see.

You can see in the image NYC fall outfits is a good keyword because users will want to see multiple outfit ideas.

If you’re able to find 50 keywords that have the intent of users visiting your site. You can select that niche.

These are the keywords on which you’re going to write articles for the first week or two, for more keywords you can check Pinterest trends every week.

Because it continuously changes according to user’s searches.
